Hi Folks, I thought it would be nice to give something back to the Supra community, so I have uploaded the Toyota EPC which I used EXTENSIVELY in my build to research various parts and part numbers. The files are located here: Mirror 1 (Rapidshare): Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Part 4: Mirror 2 (Megaupload): Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Part 4: Mirror 3 (Hotfile): Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Part 4: Be warned that it is a LARGE download (1.5GB) and so it will take some time to download and extract.
Download each of the above 4 parts and then extract them into a folder and to install it, the following instructions should work. If you are running Windows Vista or 7, you may need to use compatibility mode. 1.) Open the WIN982KJ folder inside the 'EPC Prog' folder. Double click SETUP.EXE and follow the instructions. 2.) Make sure to install on the C: drive. 3.) Copy folders TMCEPCW2, TMCMSTW2, and TMCTMPW2 to the root directory of the C: drive.
Click 'Yes to All' when asked if you want to replace existing folders. 4.) Once the files have been copied, EPC is ready to run. 5.) To switch between the Euro and Japanese data set, go into '8.
Initial Setup' and change the top set of radio buttons. Then click the 'F10:Exec' button at the bottom. If you need more help, have a look in the ToyotaEPC EPC Prog MANUAL INSTMANU.DOC and OPEMANU.DOC Microsoft Word documents. Also, once you have found your parts numbers. If you just want to get a rough idea of the cost, rather than bugging Curt with a million different quote requests, just put your part number in at this site: (Thanks Troux!). Make an account, like it to an old post you have on supraforums and you can see all the diagrams again.:bigthumb: ^ I know its early in the am.
But I have to ask. What are you trying to tell me? LIKE IT to an old post??? I have an account on www.toyodiy.com I do sign in and I still do not see the diagrams. Damn I just spent all this time from my 1st post in this thread till now downloading all 1.6g of this file and now it tells me that its invalid or corrupted? Did this work for anyone else? Alan, your the man!
Last summer I tried to DL and install this with little to know luck. Kept getting errors. I did this when ToyotaDYI dropped off all the pictures off there site. They said they needed to change due to some copy rights or something. Then Elmhurst send me a 'invite' back to it and I got all the diagrams back.
So I suppose it might be a waste of time installing this if I can get the same off there website. Unless the site goes down, then your SOL. Are there occaisional pricing updates and parts availability with the EPC download? Or is it a one time download and what is there for pricing is it? I may try again. I think the one I tried had instructions about installing the Japanese version as opposed to the European version.
Or is this only one version here? Anyways, nice to see this now avialable on SFs Stu Hi Folks, I thought it would be nice to give something back to the Supra community, so I have uploaded the Toyota EPC which I used EXTENSIVELY in my build to research various parts and part numbers.
